I know I'm a little late to the game here, you've already accepted a solution, but in my opinion you shouldn't use ANY dynamic blocks in symbol libraries. Things like brackets for text, those little loop leaders you draw around a wire, etc. I've scaled back my use of dynamic blocks to only graphical ones. So in short, don't count on a dynamic block to properly function within ACADE if it contains any ATTDEFs that are referenced during any sort of report or update.
